This week I spoke with former professional Flat Racing Jockey, Fran Berry from Kilcullen, Co. Kildare who has over 1000 race wins in Ireland and has won races from The Curragh, Royal Ascot to Tokyo.
Fran talked about his first win at 15 years old, winning as a jumps jockey on Ladies Day at Aintree, the camaraderie of the unique environment of the jockeys weighing room, superstitions, the favourite horse he has worked with?, working under Mick Kinane and always learning.
He talked about the most challenging times in his career, dealing with pressure, setting routines for himself, career injuries, and an accident at Wolverhampton that caused him to retire in 2019- how he dealt with this?
Today he has transitioned to working in media, writing columns and working with Racing TV. He also spoke about upcoming projects and plans.

In this weeks episode, I got to chat with a talk radio legend from Dublin, Ireland, and an idol of mine growing up, the one and only Adrian Kennedy.
Adrian talked openly and honestly about life, how he got the late-night FM104 Phoneshow job?, the highs and lows of 17 years presenting the FM104 Phoneshow.
Then, moving on to host Dublin Talks, a morning radio show on 98FM for over seven years, the effects of losing his job and coming out the other side with a podcast with Jeremy Dixon.
I also asked him for advice for anyone looking to get into radio?. The changes in radio over the years, and there was so much more in this in chat to learn.
They say never meet your Idols, but I have to say it was a lovely chat that did not disappoint.

This week for my special, 50th episode. I caught up with Jason Levy, Instagrammer, The Jason Experience.
This interview came about from meeting him for a short time in Dublin.
To this week's conversation, he talked about growing up in Brooklyn, New York and gentrification over the years.
He talked about how his love for basketball and working alongside different people have shaped his outlook on life.
Then during the pandemic, he embarked on a 32 Country journey and talked about his motivations for doing this?
Jason was very open and candid about his life. He also talked about putting himself out of his comfort zone, how he got into Instagramming and advice for posting on social media and the upcoming plans for himself and The Jason experience.

This week I caught up with Irish Comedian, Danny O'Brien again a year on from our last chat on the show.He talked about diversifying his business portfolio to bringing comedy workshops to schools. What virtual gigs have taught him?. A short trip to Costa Rica to visit friends turned into many months that also brought him to Guatemala, a place he learned about Mayan culture and gave him inspiration for his upcoming show.He also talked about lessons learned in his career, starting to gig again in the UK, his hopes for a return to live entertainment in Ireland, antigen tests, his upcoming Ringsend Comedy Festival, being nominated for his work in the community and so much more.
