This week I got to chat with Poet & Spoken Word Artist from Dublin, Emmet O'Brien to learn about his story.

Emmet talked about growing up in Cabra, Dublin 7, how he got into poetry, losing friends at a very young, being inspired by other artists, his thoughts on Religion/ Faith, mental health, and working on a project called StoryBud?with a previous guest on the show, mural artist, Kevin Bohan in conjunction with Creative Connections.

Emmet also gave his thoughts on performance poetry, the Dublin spoken word scene, upcoming projects, and so much more.
